Funny but True

It's weird and funny...

No matter how many times you laugh, it's that one time when you cry that you will remember,

No matter how many times people say 'I love you', it's that one 'I hate you' that will remain in your memory forever.

Maybe it ain't funny and weird that you remember these things. Maybe it's because the cry and the hate is more real than the laughter and the love.

Being ego assures us of our dignity and reputation,

but it took away our happiness and real emotions.

Ain't it funny

Ain't it funny,

We can forget all the good things a person did, when that person did one mistake or being bad for just once,

and we began to suspect that all the good things he or she did was insincere.

Why it is so much easier to believe that one person is really bad than to believe that one person is really good?

Or at least, believe that one person is neutral and good but with a few weaknesses and flaws? 

I wonder, is it because evil is more real than kindness?

What We Always Do

As humans, we are destined to be hurt... either by others or by ourselves.

And we always hurt ourselves because the funny thing is... we rather be hurt by ourselves due to our ego,

than to give in to the one we love, and risked being hurt by them.
